Today I was walking home from a friend's house and noticed a cat sitting on a half open garage door. He positioned himself at a higher vantage point to get an expanded view of what he looks at on a daily basis. "When we change the way we look at things, the things we look at change." Dr Wayne Dyer. This statement encompasses both internal perspective and global positioning of yourself. Ever notice how hindsight is 20/20? That's because you're seeing things from a different perspective. You're no longer immersed in the middle of a situation and looking straight ahead; you are now in the lofty place of higher vision - seeing things from all angles. You get the instant replay advantage to see things you may have overlooked previously - maybe those details now provide you with a whole new outlook on something you were so certain of before. If we can use hindsight as inspiration to see that we really don't get the whole picture; maybe we can step back from a situation before reacting suddenly. Take a deep breath and refocus our attention before we explode with emotion. Look around, pay attention and set yourself up for a better vantage point of any situation. Allow yourself add-vantage and take advantage of your expanded vision!
