Inner freedom

It’s never - ‘just the way I am’
That kind of thinking implies lack of responsibility.

It’s all from your inner landscape.
Frustrations and disappointments arise from your inner rules.
Abundance and joy stem from your inner freedom. ❀

Be-Do-Have

                                                                           photo:afeelingofworth.com

Do you recognize this statement?

I’ll ________ when ___________.

fill in the first blank with:

be happy
travel more
relax
have fun

fill in the second blank with:

hit the lottery
retire
leave this job
the kids grow up

There’s a problem with this kind of thinking.
By postponing ‘being’ until you ‘have’ is not only backwards,
but is also not guaranteed.
No one can express this fact better than an oncology patient.
They’re often filled with regrets of yesterday
and an unrealized bucket list of tomorrow.

It’s not about being at your peak,
feeling vibrant 100 percent of the time.
That’s not a reality in a world of free will and human emotions.
It’s more a mindset.

To change the old paradigm from

Have - Do - Be

“When I (have) money, then I’ll travel (do), and I’ll (be) happy”

To

Be - Do - Have

You are NOW fulfilling your purpose!
Creating your life in alignment with who you are.
Bypassing regrets of missed opportunities.

Expressing this freedom brings it’s own rewards, naturally. ❀

Step out

I think the term 'coming out' has so much more to do with your inner expression of who you really are than any stereotypical whisper or previous hiding -

You just needed the space to spread your wings and soar! ❀

Simplify your life!

                                                          favim.com

One of the greatest deceptions going is - having more stuff will bring happiness.

While waiting patiently for something you might want, be grateful for all that you’ve got. “It’s not having what you want. It’s wanting what you’ve got.” - Cheryl Crow

When you focus on what you don’t have, you’re really missing out on the blessings of today.
Often times we may be so focused
on attaining something bigger, that we miss out on the small wonders, celebrations of everyday life.

Make a big deal about the little things in your life; kids do! They have much to teach us about true freedom, wonder and happiness! ❀

Grateful heart!

                                                          pickthebrain.com

We see reminders of gratitude everywhere (we look)!

They're witnessed in beauty itself, they're brought to the surface in feeling compassion for another!

Gratitude can arise from the ashes of despair, it can flourish on top of your highest mountaintop of success!

You can feel gratitude for yesterday, today and tomorrow! A grateful heart originates from within, it has little to do with what is outside! ❀

People create distinctions out of their own minds

In the sky, there is no distinction of east and west. People create distinctions out of their own minds and then believe them to be true.  Buddha

People can create lots of boundaries, many shades of separation and distinction. Many people create these little boxes of'perfection' in their lives, of right and wrong, good and bad, their way or the highway.

We all like to think that we are right, that we've realized the true path, the correct way to live and think. The proper way to handle situations and treat other people.

The criminal justice system is a perfect example of an entity doling out decisions based on a pre set value system of right/wrong, good/bad, breaking mandated laws (those laws which are deemed to be fair and just according to a group of individuals).

Airplanes would have difficulty safely navigating the open skies without compass direction, and the streets wouldn't be as safe without legal authority enforcing (deemed) wrong behavior.

Yet, an artist or composer wouldn't be able to create an outstanding masterpiece if his or her mind was caught up in the 'separation' existence of reality.

A Mother can offer her child the hope of a boundless future with limitless vision.

Your outlook, your inner reality, is your choice - your belief, your creation!
