Temptation and judgement

A question:

“What are you yielding to in your life?”
“The flesh or the spirit?”
We become a slave to that which we yield to repeatedly.

When you have an inkling to do something nice for another........

Don’t yield to thoughts of temptation

but how much will it cost?
but it might slow me down...
but it won’t ‘give’ me anything
but they don’t deserve it....

The same things you judge other people for - you do yourself.

We judge others by their actions.
We judge ourselves by our intentions.

Just listening to business talk radio this morning.

Someone was quoted as saying, “Hey man, your pants are on fire!”

Is there something so obvious going on in your life right now that is not apparent to you, but raising eyebrows of others?
Sometimes we get so caught up with our own ‘story’ that we miss out on what’s happening outside of ourselves!

When you focus on what you don’t have, you’re really missing out on the blessings of today. 
 Often times we may be so focused 
on attaining something bigger, that we miss out on the small wonders, celebrations of everyday life. 




 Make a big deal about the little things in your life; kids do! They have much to teach us about true freedom, wonder and happiness! ❀
